Manuel Granero Joselito was the greatest bullfighter Valencia ever produced. He was killed in the the ring in Madrid in 1922 at the age of 20. He studied the violin until he was 14, practiced bullfighting until 17 and fought bulls until 20 years of age. (Extract from Hemingway's Death in the Afternoon)
